Day Fifty Five
The rain was a steady down pour through the evening. In the morning, the pups and I did our best to step around the puddles in the grass; it was clear the ground had its fill. The rain was expected to continue through the day and let off sometime in the evening. We elected to leave the day for chores and possibly a haircut for Lori. We did a search for the local laundry mat and Lori successfully made an appointment for her hair.
We headed into town early afternoon, I waited in the truck with the pups while Lori went for her hair appointment. While she was having her hair done, lori struck up a conversation with the stylist. Lori mentioned our travel plans and the young girl revealed she was from Grand Prairie and moved here with her husband; small world. Out of curiosity, Lori mentioned that we went for Chinese food the other night and were not impressed. The young stylist revealed that New Brunswicks definition of Chinese food is nothing like it is out west, when she goes home to visit, it usually involves a dinner at the local Chinese restaurant with ginger beef.
The local laundry mat was very busy so we passed on doing the laundry for another day. We headed home to do a few things around the RV. Tomorrow we pack up and head toward PEI.
