Day 196
After two hot days strolling the grounds of Disney World, we decided to take a day off to spend in the company of our furry travel companions. After yesterday, I was looking forward to a little rest from the residual effects of my cold. The day was expected to push 32 with possible thunder showers in the afternoon.
We walked the dogs several times throughout the day, and I have begun to notice that there is something about the grass here that Sophie does not care for. Being a youthful pup, she has a fair bit of strength and would pull hard on her leash in order to get off the grass and walk on the paved road around the campground.
The thunder showers failed to arrive in the afternoon and the heat warranted a swim in the pool. When we settled down for the evening, Lori noted that her throat has been feeling a little sore as she gave me the eyes of daggers 🗡
