Day Fifty
This whole week has been calling for rain, but there have been some really nice days. Not sure what the weather was going to bring today, so we flipped a coin for either Montmorency Falls, or the lower part of old Quebec City, the Falls won.
The Montmorency Falls are 83 meters high, a full 30 meters higher than Niagara Falls. The park has walkways on both sides of the falls connected with a suspension bridge placed right overtop of the falls. On the far side of the fall there is a staircase leading down to the base of the water falls. A trail leads around the lower river with a tram that will take up back to the top. Just in front of the falls was a zip line from one side to the other. I contemplated on zipping over but felt it would not even be close to the thrill of paragliding, so I passed on it. We walked the entire trail, descended the stairs to the base, and walked over to the tram for a ride back to the top.
