Day Twenty Nine
We are coming to the end of our Manitoulin Island tour. With two days to go, we feel we have explored all the sights that were of interest to us. Today the weather is expected to be sunny with a cool wind, so we decided to go play a game of golf.
Give me golf clubs, fresh air and a beautiful partner to spend time with, and you can keep the clubs and Fresh air.
We gathered our golf clubs and headed to the closest course, Brookwood Brea golf course. The course was on the east side of Mindemoya Lake and was situated around some marsh land. The course was well groomed with plenty of forested and Marshy areas just waiting to prey on your ball 🤬, good thing we don’t keep score. Returning home, we sprung the pups from their morning lockup and went for a long walk around the campground.
When Lori and I talked about doing this trip, our concern was to keep the dogs comfortable in the RV. Air ventilation and temperature was my main priority. I knew the A/C would handle the hot days but the RV can get pretty stuffy even on warm days. Working for an RV dealer for a short period, I was told that the 12v fans the manufacturers install are as effective as a propeller beanie. I took this advice and replaced both my 12v fans with the Maxxair 6200K fans. In my opinion, all RV owners need to install these Maxxair fans, they truly work.
