Leaving New Hampshire

Day 154

After a full day of heavy rain, I expected the campground to be under a few inches of water when we awoke this morning. I prepared the pups, and headed into the darkness for their morning stroll. Surprisingly the ground was not muddy. The camp site, and roads where made from a sandy compact gravel that allowed the water to easily seep into the ground, and the grassy areas seemed to fair just as well. We walked along the road for a short time, before the pups managed to get their entire undercarriage soaking wet again.

When the sun came up, we could see that blue skies had taken the place of the clouds. Today is a jump day, so we began our usual routine of packing up the Rv, and headed out shortly after ten. Our destination today is close to Springfield, Massachusetts. Taking a little more time to plan our route, we worked our path to stick to the secondary highways, avoiding the toll highways, and bubba, along with his cannibal family on the back roads 😂.

Massive oak tree beside our site.
Throughout our stay we would hear thuds on the roof of the Rv from acorns falling from the oak tree beside us.

Just a fun photo of Sophie turned out to be amazing!
