Maintenance Day

Day Ninety Seven

Today is the day we move the Rv from our current spot to another in the campground, see the Appearance and Functionality post for details. In the morning I walked over to the office to see where I need to move the Rv for the last two days of our stay. I had figured it would be back into the overflow section of the campground, and I guessed right. We were assigned spot 79 in the overflow section. I planned on doing a dump before heading over, so Lori went ahead in the truck. Once I arrived in the Rv, I saw Lori parked beside the same spot we requested to be pulled out of when we arrived ðŸ˜ . Figuring we only had two days here, we decided to make the best of it and set up the Rv.

Our maintenance and upkeep list has been slowly growing for the Rv and today we decided to stay home to bring everything up to date prior to leaving Halifax. The biggest challenge I found was the lack of tools. I did bring a tool box with various tools, but life somehow manages to ensure the tools you need, are the ones you did not bring. After a visit to the local Rv parts store yesterday on our way back from Luninberg, and a few visits to Canadian Tire today, I was able to complete all my chores and have the RV in shape for the next jump. In the afternoon the truck went in for an oil change and picked up a few groceries for a nice dinner with my wife.
