Tick Talk

 Day Forty Seven

We have set up camp in the KOA located in St-Redempteur, just outside of Quebec City. This is the second KOA we have stayed at, and they do not disappoint. Our spot is nothing spectacular, but if your willing to pay a little more, you can have a site with a cement patio, chairs and table, and BBQ. The public bathrooms are clean and fully decorated with a Mexican vibe. In the middle of the campground there is a pool, hot tub, and multiple patios and fire pits.

Even though the weather was calling for rain today, we made plans to head down to old Quebec, and look around. We visited Quebec A few years back and really enjoyed our stay, It’s truly the only place in Canada that resembles old Europe.

On our departure from the KOA, a thunder storm rolled in. We check the weather reports to find out a severe thunderstorm warning had just been issued, with a chance of hail. We called off our tour of Quebec, picked up a few groceries from down the street, and headed back to the RV.

We did a few chores around the RV and took the pups for some good walks. Later in the evening Lori had one hell of a freak out! She found a tick in the back of her leg! After removing it, we checked the dogs and found another in Gizmos neck…. Yuck! RV toilet training starts tomorrow for the pups.
