Day 161
We dragged our feet this morning, slowly getting ready for the day as we discussed where we should start our Washington journey. Coming to no solid destination, it was clear we were apprehensive of leaving the safety of our campground; kind of like a gopher popping it’s head in and out of his hole for a short time before making a run for the tall grass.
Around eleven we were ready for the day, with no solid decision on where we should start. We discussed taking a tour, or hire a guide to ease us into traversing Washington, but by now it’s was getting too late in the morning for booking. Without settling on any plans, we decided to do a few errands. Sucking it up and coming out of our hole, we headed into south Baltimore for the afternoon. Driving around Baltimore relaxed us a little, and I feel we can certainly make our way into Washington without prairie dogging it tomorrow.
