Golf Balls and Cornfields

 Day 141

The weather was favourable to a golf game today. Both, Lori and I need to improve our short game so we played a par 3 golf course called Darnley Greens. We started the course behind a group of four, allowing us to practice our chipping as we waited for the group to clear the next holes. Along the fifth hole, there was a field of corn almost ready for harvesting, I took a moment to walk over and investigate the massive corns growing on the stocks; I can certainly understand how cornfields are used in horror films, they are a wall of vegetation that towers over you limiting your visibility. When the wind blows, the rustling sounds like someone is moving through them, you almost feel as if the children of the corn are going to step out.

Lori lost four golf balls on a par three course.
