Day 223
To some, I suppose it would seem weird to only spend one day at Houston before moving on. Houston being the fourth largest city in the US and boasting a total population of six million people. you would suspect there would be hundreds of things to see and do, and I’m sure there is. But, at this point in our life, the bustle of a city that size has little interest to us. Today we move onto the Capitol of Texas, Austin. Here we will stay for five nights to explore the surrounding area.
Our Campground for the next week is the Auston East KOA. Located…… yes you guessed it!….East of Austin. The drive was extremely congested with traffic making the drive tense, when the winds picked up and began blowing the Rv around in the lane, my knuckles slowly turned a nice milk colour. I was very happy when we were able to turn off onto a county road, and relax a little as we headed towards our new home.
