Ottawa

 Day Forty One

Today we are moving away from the St. Lawrence and headed toward our nations capital. We started the day early with a light breakfast, and packed the RV up for our journey. Our first stop is to Morrisburg for a refill on the RV propane. Just north of Morrisburg is a tiny hamlet, well known for their massive Sunday flea markets, of course, it was Sunday…Lori had to stop.

Our home for the next week is the westly Clover Campground just outside of Ottawa. The drive was to only an hour, so we decided to take the backroads. This drive, was one of the most enjoyable drives yet. It was a gorgeous day with no wind or traffic to contend with, I was actually a little disappointed that it was so short. It was around one o’clock when we arrived at our site. We set the RV up and had a little lunch with the pups outside.

Prior to us leaving Airdrie, we purchased a collapsible dog pen at Uncle Weiners. Our goal was to contain the dogs in when we don’t want them wondering around. Today was the first time trying it out and we are impressed! Plenty of room for the pups to move around and relax in.
