Day 249
Merry Christmas.
It’s certainly different to celebrate Christmas in the desert. Today we decided to drive to a place we discovered along the highway similar to the Rock City Park for a walk with the pups. When we arrived at the rest stop where the rocks were located we discovered the entire area was fenced off. With the rest stop located along the highway and to be honest, not very clean we were not keen on sticking around so we headed back the the campground for a walk around it.
During our drive back we decided to go relax in the campgrounds hot tub after a good walk. During our stroll we decided to check on the access gate to the pool, only to discover the pool was closed for the day. After a short chuckle on how our plans kept getting pulled out from under us, we threw the white flag up and returned to the Rv and spent the rest of the afternoon working on a puzzle.
