Day Fifteen
A decent day to do some exploring. We took the pups for a drive to the Terry Fox Memorial. The Memorial is situated up on a hill overlooking Lake Superior at the north end of Thunder Bay. The park is a great place for a small walk and would be an awesome place for a picnic during the summer. From there we headed over to Trowbridge Forest for a longer hike with the pups. The hike did not go too well, the snow still covered parts of the trails and little gizmo struggled to get through, what was not covered in snow was slick with mud.
We headed back to a park we had tried to explore a few days earlier but was chased away by the cold wind coming off of Lake Superior. This time the sun was out and Marina Park was alive with people walking their dogs. I was concerned about Sophie, with all these others dogs around, I was not sure how she was going to behave. We figured it would be a good time to start working with her. The walk was slow as we did our best to keep Sophie under control when dogs came close. In the end I will say there is hope for her, she did better than expected and only lost control once when we walked past two dogs that where playing together.
Late in the afternoon, the weather was still nice enough to be outside. I pulled a toy out I purchased just prior to our departure and began to instruct myself on flying a drone. There was only one crash in the trees and shortly after I was getting the hang of it…. Looking forward to getting some amazing footage from the air.

Beautiful looking day and photos
