Define a Day of Nothing

Day Fourteen

I spent some time working on my programming course, read my book, and responded to a few emails. That was probably the most productive stuff I did all day. Lori relaxed with her book, and late afternoon tortured me with a soap opera, I did my best to block it out, but it’s hard to avoid it when your living in three hundred square feet (insert serious 👁 roll here).

The weather was to be an improvement today, but tomorrow the temperature is expected to reach the double digits so we opted to explore the few attractions Thunder Bay has to offer tomorrow and just chill with the dogs today.

We did a few big walks with the pups throughout the day. The campground was about eighty percent buried in snow still, what was dug out was beginning to get filled with campers. As we passed a few of the occupied sites that had dogs, Sophie became extremely uncontrollable and we had to scurry past to get her to calm down. I was concerned about her being a little uncontrollable a few months prior to our departure, but did not think she would be this crazy…… very embarrassing! no time like the present to begin working with her, or to the hot dog factory she goes!

Looking forward to doing some exploring without the storm jacket and ice picks tomorrow.

Our pain in the ass puppy, Sophie
