Day 276
As the day progressed yesterday, I began to have congestion in my chest and worried I was getting a cold. On the way home from the Museum, we stopped at the closest Walmart to pick up some Vicks. We have noticed the pharmacy’s in the states are very odd, you feel as if your buying hardcore prescription drugs or something. Everything is behind locked cabinets and you have to ring a bell for someone to come and retrieve the item for you, it’s Vicks! Who the hell steals Vicks, and what are they doing with it to warrant it being locked up.
In the evening, I loaded myself up with Vicks and cold medication in an effort to prevent from getting worse. By the morning my suspicion was confirmed and spent the morning in bed. Lori took this opportunity to enjoy a peaceful morning working on another puzzle. In the afternoon I was feeling a little better but spent the rest of the day taking it easy.
