Work Day

 Day 230

At the beginning of our trip, I planned to extend my skills on my 3D software program for my woodworking projects through an online course. Throughout most of the trip, I had been unable to make any progress in the courses due to the weak wifi we received from in the campgrounds. I did look into adding a wifi service to our Wineguard system, but the cost of the service was ridiculously expensive and unjustifiable. Yesterday I began to wonder if the problem is not entirely the local wifi and possibly my aging laptop.

Throughout the trip, our iPads had more success on the campground wifi systems, so today I decided to see if I could access my software account through my iPad. I had my doubts, as I would normally access the course through the software program installed on my laptop. After going back and forth with ID and login protocols, I had managed to get in… yahoo! I had even managed to get right back into my course progress file so I can work from where I left off. One thing we have learned is wifi services when traveling are hit and miss.
