Day 202
Yesterday we took our best guess on where to be when the tropical storm Nicole hit Florida. As you had read, we chose to forego St. Augustine on the east coast, and head northwest towards Perry. At the time, Perry was clear of the storm path projections from The National Hurricane Centre. This morning the storm was upgraded to a tropical storm and projected to push across southern Florida, coming close to our location. We are hoping that’s as far as it will go and we are just looking at a few rainy days.
As I had mentioned yesterday, there is little around our area to explore. Today we will head into Perry and check the small town out.
