Beware of Alligator

Day 182

Today we head away from Myrtle Beach, and go south towards Savannah located just across the state line into Georgia. We really enjoyed our short stay at Myrtle Beach and would suggest to anyone who enjoys beaches, tropical drinks and golfing not to miss this destination.

The drive leaving South Carolina was surprisingly calm allowing me to set the cruise control to 60mph and enjoy the scenery for a change. As we entered Georgia the situation changed, and I was once again driving in heavy traffic. We arrived at our campground around 3:00 and quickly set up before exploring our new home for the next five nights.

One more state closer to Florida.
Entrance to the Savanna Oaks Rv.

Our campsite is located in a secluded corner of the campground.

Signs in the dog run… brilliant!
This sign was serious.
Ogeechee River.
Lori wanted nothing to do with the lower part of the walkway along the river. A massive alligator may jump out and eat gizmo!
