Destination Known

 Day 142

It has been a wonderful few weeks in Crystal Beach, but Lori and I have now become anxious to continue our journey. We depart PEI this Wednesday and head towards Fredricton, New Brunswick for two days before heading to the US border crossing close to Houlton, Maine. Once we crossed over to the US, we had only booked our stays as far as Rochester, New Hampshire. Our biggest challenge traveling through the upper states such as Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts was that the campgrounds begin to close early October for the winter. Us, wanting to avoid the cold for a year, had no issues with this and will travel quickly south to warmer states.

Today we we decided to plan the first leg of our journey through the states. There is lots to see along the east coast of the US, but the only thing on my must see list is the Smithsonian. After visiting Washington, our destination was unknown. We spoke in Length of all the possible places we could visit and concluded that spending Halloween in Disney World would be fun. Knowing where we needed to be on October 31st we planned a course slowly towards Florida. After Washington, we will set a course towards Nashville and Memphis to pay our respects to the King before heading east towards Myrtle Beach and then into Florida.
