It Takes Two

 Day 104

Living in an Rv for an extended period of time certainly comes with a different lifestyle compared to a house. There are small things you certainly begin to miss, such as counter space in the kitchen, larger shower in the bathroom, and at times, being more than ten feet from a neighbour.

These are certainly minor things in an Rv lifestyle, and it has not been lost on us for the opportunity to discover this wonderful world. The fellow travellers we have met are friendly (I’m sure there are the odd cranky ones) and eager to provide you with useful tips, as they tell you their travelling stories.

With just over three months of travelling under our belt, My biggest observation to this lifestyle is your relationship to your spouse. A close working partnership is a prerequisite to pulling such a journey off. If your relationship it not strong, I could easily see the whole journey being a nightmare.

There is no privacy or space to this lifestyle, and the couples we meet, seem to be in sync, showing huge amounts of respect and patience towards one another. As I continue to see this over and over, I am reminded on how fortunate I am to have such an amazing relationship with Lori, she is my best friend, soulmate and partner. I look forward to each day and the fun adventures we have, either by just putzing around the house, or exploring the world together.
