Day Sixty

This morning started as a chore day. We had a little laundry to do, and a few things around the RV to ensure things keep running smoothly. Shortly after lunch we had a FaceTime call with our grandson. 

In the afternoon, we headed into Charlottetown for walk along the pier. It was a Sunday afternoon. The pier was hopping with people enjoying the sunny day, as they shopped the small stores that lined the docks and downtown streets.

Along the pier, we saw a whole group of Arctic Red jellyfish swimming amongst the boats. Being amazed at this event, I began to take a video of the closest one. I shortly began to realize this must be a common occurrence as no one took interest in the smack of jellyfish. 

We headed up the street to visit the province house where the confederation of Canada was signed, uniting New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Ontario and Quebec, in 1867. The province house was under restoration and was closed to the public, so we moved into the shopping district as we slowly worked our way back to the truck.  

A few streets in Charlottetown are thick with small stores and oyster bars.

Apparently the sting feels like a minor burn, you just need to rub sand on it to alleviate the irritation.
