Break out the Canoe

Day Seven

We continue to stay in Winnipeg waiting out the final remnant of this storm to pass. Long range forecast show things to start warming warm up and I for one will be thankful to see some temperatures above zero. I can now confidently say that winter glamping is not for us.

Cold weather hit Winnipeg hard this year. With the ground frozen this storm caused severe flooding in areas of the city, a few of the main overpasses are underwater and to get around you have to do some roundabout directions to get there.

This evening we dined at a restaurant called Pine Ridge Hollow located just outside of Winnipeg. The restaurant was done in a rustic feel and the food was vary tasty, we thank our friends Joe and Jodi for taking us there.

I’m not big on doing food shots and posting them….but…I did
Dinning experience and shopping was excellent here.
